Those [angels] who carry the Throne and those around it exalt [Allah] with praise of their Lord and believe in Him and ask forgiveness for those who have believed… [40:7]
The angels who are close to Allah SWT are:
- Combining Tasbeeh with Tahmeed. The former is a negation of imperfection and the later is an affirmation of perfection.
- Asking forgiveness for the believers. How can we lose hope in Allah’s forgiveness when the angels who are close to Allah are constantly asking Him for this?
- Whoever says ‘Subhan Allah wa-bi hamdihi‘ a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea. [Al-Bukhari 7/168, Muslim 4/2071]
- Think of what we say in Salaah after we say Allahu Akbar.
